We have had another fantastic day at Beechworth. Although the rain set in early in the morning, the students were eager to get out and about town. We spent some time at the Murray Breweries, taste testing some delicious cordial, we learnt the history of blacksmithing and techniques to mould steel and we observed bees at work at the Beechworth Honey Experience.
We had a delicious lunch and then headed back into town. A big favourite was the Beechworth Sweets and Co (including the teachers). We saw a streetscape of 16 replications of shops from the town’s heyday at the Burke Museum.
We can’t wait for two more rotations tomorrow and making our way back to Laburnum.
